Le Reve - The Dream: About the Creators
Le Reve - The Dream is the Wynn Hotel & Casino’s signature production and has frequently been voted the best show in Las Vegas. This masterpiece combines diving, dance, acrobatics and water to create an incredibly powerful, aquatic showpiece.
Le Reve - The Dream, was created by Italian-Belgian theatre director, Franco Dragone. Dragone joined the Cirque du Soleil team in the 1980s and played an important role in the combination of circus and theater acts, a style that Cirque du Soleil is well-recognized for today.
Franco Dragone began his Las Vegas success after revealing himself as the mastermind behind the hit Cirque du Soleil productions, Mystere and “O.” In the year 2000, Dragone distanced himself from Cirque du Soleil to create his own company in Belgium. Three years later, Dragone unveiled his newest live show starring Celine Dion, which debuted at the Caesars Palace Hotel & Casino. Dragone’s A New Day… marked his return to Las Vegas entertainment, as well as legendary singer, Celine Dion’s first Vegas residency.
On May 6, 2005, Franco Dragone’s creation, Le Reve - The Dream debuted at The Wynn Hotel & Casino. La Reve - The Dream continues to be The Wynn’s most successful production, while Franco Dragone continues to direct and debut enchanting shows around the globe.
