Watch in amazement as the Mentalist reads your mind from the Las Vegas stage

Gerry McCambridge has one of the most unique jobs on the Strip. He performs as a “mentalist” to audiences on a nightly basis, reading the minds of random people and predicting the outcome of situations. The show is laced with comedy, magic and plenty of audience interaction. Are you ready to be a part of it? Here are a few tips to make the most of The Mentalist Live:

Throw Your Expectations Out the Window
You might be thinking, “The Mentalist, another Vegas magic show, right?” Wrong. So wrong. Throw any preconceived notions you might have about The Mentalist out the window and get ready to be a part of something incredible. McCambridge isn’t just another magician. In fact, he’s not. He’s a mind reader. You don’t come across a mind reader regularly in Vegas.

Get Ready to be A Part of the Show
During The Mentalist, McCambridge pulls audience members onto the stage and predicts the outcome of random situations like naming the first person you had a crush on or picking the number out of a telephone book. Half of the fun of the show is being a part of it, so get ready.

You’ll Be Short of Breath
McCambridge’s predictions are so amazing you will find yourself holding your breath in anticipation. Each time he guesses your answer you will lock up just a bit and then exhale in shock as he gets it right. It’s a show and a mini ab workout all in one!

Get Ready to Laugh
You won’t just be nervous laughing as your mind is read. McCambridge is also a pretty funny guy and incorporates plenty of jokes into his show. He’s also quick witted, so even if things don’t go as planned he can recover with a joke.

Each Show is Different
Due to audience interaction, each of The Mentalist’s shows are different. This is one of the best things about the production. You never quite know how somebody is going to react to McCambridge’s predictions so it’s always unpredictable.

The Mentalist performs Thursday through Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at the V Theater at Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood.
