The Best Las Vegas Residency Artists to See in 2020

Catch these artists in residence in Sin City this year

In most cities, you might wait months or even years for your favorite singer to perform near you. Las Vegas isn’t most cities. Here, it’s possible to see Cher one night, Reba McEntire the next, and hey, maybe even Christina Aquilera the one after that. That’s all thanks to the beauty of the Las Vegas residency. Since the days of Elvis performing 58 sold-out shows in a row at the Las Vegas Hilton in 1969, the concept of a legendary artist planting roots in Sin City – at least temporarily – has been a beloved tradition.

Visit Las Vegas in 2020 and you’ll have your pick of performers to see. Choose your favorite one or see a few while you’re in town. Like all wonderful things in Las Vegas, sadly not all residencies last forever. Book tickets to see the following amazing artists while you still can:

Mariah Carey
Like the butterflies she’s enamored with, Mariah Carey tends to come and go from Las Vegas, which is why you should catch her residency at Caesars Palace while you can. Take a seat in the plush, intimate Colosseum and be prepared to be wowed by the diva herself. Her vocals are unbeatable, and her charisma is just as memorable.

Cher is the kind of performer who seems like she was destined to be in Las Vegas for a residency. Fortunately, destiny has hit it out of the park with this incredible show from the Grammy, Emmy, and Oscar winning legend. Head to the Park Theater for a night that will take you through all of her greatest hits. Expect dancing, choreography, and a retrospective of Cher’s dazzling career.

Christina Aguilera
First Planet Hollywood had Britney; now it has Christina. If you grew up in the ‘90s, you owe it to yourself to decide once and for all which one of these pop stars you prefer by seeing Christina Aquilera live at the Zappos Theater. Expect to be blown away by her powerhouse vocals, and don’t be surprised if you still know every single word to “Genie in a Bottle.”

Gwen Stefani
There have been so many eras of Gwen Stefani’s career that it feels like the Orange County-born singer has lived several lifetimes. Whether you prefer No Doubt’s classic songs, the ‘80s inspired Love. Angel. Music. Baby. album, or you know her from The Voice, where she famously fell in love with Blake Shelton, you will be up on your feet and dancing at her Planet Hollywood residency.

Reba Brooks and Dunn
Country music fans take note. Reba, Brooks & Dunn are taking over Caesars Palace in 2020 for a year of sure-to-be-packed shows. Get on your cowboy boots and see Reba McEntire take the stage with the equally amazing duo Brooks and Dunn. You’ve been wanting to see these artists, so why not see them together? This unique residency at the Colosseum is unlike any stop along a tour. It’s not just a great excuse to visit Las Vegas; it’s the best live country show you’ll see all year.
