5 Vegas Shows to See for an Epic Bachelor Party Weekend

Take the Groom-to-be to see a concert, comedy show or something sexy

What do you think of when you hear the words “Bachelor Party in Vegas?” If you’re like many soon-to-be-hitched men, it’s probably something along the lines of swanky hotel suites, bottle service and VIP booths at the club (strip and otherwise). But bachelor party entertainment in Vegas goes far beyond pole dancers and Jaeger bombs. Sin City offers everything from exotic car racing to indoor skydiving to even a hummer adventure tour of the Grand Canyon. And then there are, of course, the dozens of concertscomedy acts and shows performing every day on the Strip and across the Las Vegas Valley.

So whether you’re looking to add something different to your stag party weekend or just need to kill some time between dinner and the Little Darlings strip club, here are five concert and comedy show ideas for a memorable pre-nuptial celebration in Vegas.

Fantasy
If you have your doubts about the burlesque show Fantasy, know this: Fantasy has been a popular Luxor Hotel and Casino mainstay for over 18 years and counting. So they must be doing something right. Maybe it’s the stunning vocals, sizzling dance moves and aerial stunts. Or maybe it’s the fact that the dancers are topless. Whatever the reason, Fantasy is not only provocative but also surprisingly funny—a comedian entertains guests in between sets.

Crazy Girls
Planet Hollywood also offers a topless review. With 32 years under its (garter)belt, Crazy Girls has the distinction of being the longest-running burlesque show in America. Over the decades the show has collected many a celebrity fan, including  Robert DeNiro, Joe Pesci and Magic Johnson. The show involves audience interaction, so come prepared to be pulled onto to the stage for a surprise lap dance or close-up view of the dancers’ famous G-string-clad derrières.

Daniel Tosh
After 11 years on Comedy Central, Daniel Tosh needs no introduction. If you’ve had your fill of thongs and the thumping club music, then 90 minutes of gross-out humor and witty pop culture commentary might just be the fit. The show is performed at the Mirage Hotel and in addition to Daniel, it features a cast of writers and comedians from Comedy Central’s Tosh.O.

Marriage Can Be Murder
If you’re looking for some entertainment that’s less risqué or bawdy, then the show Marriage Can Be Murder is a fun choice. The show is strictly PG, making it a safe choice for those evenings when grandpa or your conservative uncle is tagging along. It’s one of those comedy and murder mystery shows where the actors sit in the audience, leaving guests wondering if that loud person next to them is one of the show’s performers or just a drunk tourist. If dinner theater isn’t your thing, you may be happy to know that the show is performed at Hennessey’s Tavern (read: good beer and great-tasting bar grub).

Raiding the Rock Vault
The music-lovers in your wedding party will appreciate the detour to Raiding the Rock Vault, especially if they’re fans of rock n’ roll hits from the ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s. This rock tribute show at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino features some of the actual performers from the Offspring, Quiet Riot, Bon Jovi and more, as well as a number of rotating female vocalists. It was voted “Best of Vegas” six years in a row, and is a fun way to squeeze in a little rock before the wedding bells.
